Old Town's Favorite Mexican Food and Drink

The vision for Casa Guadalajara began years ago, when Powers discovered that the owner of "Romaine's Guadalajara Grill," originally on this corner, intended to cut down a majestic, 300-year-old California pepper tree on the property to make way for a parking lot. Instead, Powers purchased the property in 1995 and established Casa Guadalajara – saving the tree and making it the dramatic focal point of the restaurant's festive courtyard.

From mariachis to margaritas, the Mexican city of Guadalajara is known as the birthplace of all things synonymous with "fiesta!" And in Old Town San Diego, the spirit lives on at Casa Guadalajara.

Delicious Mexican Cuisine in Carlsbad

Diane Powers has brought the fun and flair of the original Casa de Bandini to The Forum Shopping Center in Carlsbad, Calif.

Formerly located in Old Town, San Diego, this second-generation Casa de Bandini Mexican Restaurant is the essence of Mexican culture: authentic Mexican food, fabulous mariachi entertainment, hot-off-the-grill homemade tortillas, giant margaritas and an environment depicting Colonial Mexico.

La Mesa's Finest Mexican Food

Casa de Pico, an internationally renowned Mexican restaurant, was originally opened by Diane Powers in 1971 in Old Town, San Diego. In 2005, we relocated to Grossmont Center, where we brought with us the spirit of our original location, with its hacienda-like archways, hand-crafted, wrought iron fixtures and beautiful landscaping reminiscent of Mexico.

Casa de Pico's award-winning cuisine, festive atmosphere, strolling mariachis, and world-famous Birdbath Margaritas make it the perfect place to come for a romantic evening getaway or gathering with family and friends.
